"Old Cottage, Ravenswood"
This is one of the smaller buildings typical of the area. Like all the other homes in the area it was originally entirely surrounded by a fence of palings and wire to keep out the ever-questing herds of goats that roamed the streets. Everyone kept goats for both milk and meat, and all of them ran loose. They became such a part of the scene that people even trained them to work in harness and built small carts for them to pull. Billy goat cart races became part of every sports day!
